VT invites all Matriculates and unemployed graduates who have completed their studies with a 3 year IT qualification and looking for training to participate in our skills development programme. Students will be places in different leaning institution across the country.
Matriculates will be placed in our End User Computing Programme and Unemployed graduates will be place in our MCSE Private Cloud Programme.
1. End user computing
This learnership is for all matriculates. The purpose of the qualification is to build knowledge and skills required by learners in End User Computing. It is intended to empower learners to acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes and values required to operate confidently in the End User Computing environment. A qualifying learner will be able to:
• competently apply the knowledge, techniques & skills of End User Computing applications in the workplace.
• Understand the impact and use Information Communication & Technology (ICT) in an organisation and society.
• Improve Communication by combining communication skills with End User Computing skills.
• Improve the application of mathematical literacy in the workplace, by better utilising applicable End User Computing Applications.

2. MCSE
This learnership is for all Unemployed graduates. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Private Cloud coves Windows 2012 Hyper-V and System Center 2012, as well as applications such as SharePoint and Exchange. The purpose of the qualification is allow the learners to be able to
• Design and deploy Microsoft System Center.
• Configure System Center infrastructure and integration.
• Configure and deploy virtual machines (VMs) and services.
• Configure storage and network fabric, deployment and update servers, and cloud and virtualization hosts.
• Configure data center process automation.
• Configure resource monitoring and monitor resources.
• Configure and maintain service management.
• Manage configuration, updates, backup, and recovery.
